In his first appearance in the CCR Mascot Mayhem Challenge, Missouri State’s Boomer was looking to make his way into the Championship Pairing and take home his second mascot title of the off-season.

The quest to find the ‘Top Mascot in the NCAA’ is starting to wind down, but the third instalment of the challenge has been the closest one yet.

With several newcomers to the challenge, it was unclear from the start as to who would assert themselves as a front-runner for the crown.

Two newcomers to the challenge this season earned spots in the Final Four, along with last year’s champion and a returnee to the Final Four from last year’s challenge. All four mascots who will appeared in the finals have seen a steady increase in fan support since the outset of the challenge, meaning the Final 4 should be exciting from day one.

In total, over 29,000 votes were cast over the seven days of the Final Four across Twitter, Instagram, and the Online Polls.
