Top 20 transfers from non-power programs in 2017

Former Akron guard Antino Jackson is one of the top 20 transfers on the market from non-power schools at this point in the off-season.

CALGARY, Alta. — You get your release, and you get your release, and you get your release.

With the high volume of transfer players receiving their releases within the first couple of weeks after the National Championship game is complete, it’s sometimes tough to keep up-to-date with all of the player movement.

That’s where the folks at Verbal Commits and ourselves come in handy.

Collectively, we try to keep fans across the country in the loop when it comes to player transfers and scholarship offers. Admittedly, they do all of the work, whether it’s the fact that they have a complete list of transfer players or tweeting out updates each and every day. They make our lives easier.

We then try to take their information and condense it down in to articles for you to stay informed as your days move on.

With a plethora of talented players on the open market, it was tough to narrow the list down to just 20 players. After we took out the power conference programs, the task was just as hard, as the number of talented players who are transferring from smaller programs is as impressive collection.

We did our best. Here are the top 20 transfers from non-power programs still on the market, as of April 5th, 2017.
