HONOLULU — The
Hawai’i Warriors beat the Prairie View A&M Panthers, 72-60, inside the Stan Sheriff Center late Wednesday night.
The Warriors will take the win, even though it was one of their ugliest games of the season.
As a team, the Warriors shot a ghastly 38.6% from the field, as well as 29.2% from beyond the arc.

HONOLULU — The
Hawai’i Warriors fell to the Utah Utes, 80-60, late Saturday night. It was their second loss of the season.
Utah is one of only two power five schools that the Warriors will play this season. Saturday also marked the first road game of 2017-18 for the Warriors.
Both teams shot less than 45% from the floor, with Hawai’i having their worst shooting game this season, going a dismal 36.5% from the floor in the loss.

HONOLULU — On a night where the ball just wasn’t bouncing their way, the
Hawai’i Warriors fell to the Nevada Wolf Pack late Friday night, 67-54.
Only one Hawai’i player finished with double digits, and it came from guard
Brocke Stepeau off the bench. Leland Green finished with nine points, and forwards Mike Thomas and Gibson Johnson both contributed eight points, respectively.
Caleb Martin led the Wolf Pack with 22 points and six rebounds, while brother Cody Martin added 16 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks in the win.
The Warriors could never get a good lead going at all in this game, as their dismal shooting kept them from gaining any traction on the Wolf Pack. Hawai’i bricked six in a row at one point mid-way through the first half.

Hawai’i Warriors staved off North Dakota, as Cortez Seales had a look at the end for the Fighting Hawks with less than a second to force overtime that fell by the wayside.
The Warriors led by as much as twenty-two in the game, and managed to close it with a 81-78 win.

Hawai’i Warriors opened up their 2017-18 season with a with an 82-70 win against the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Friday’s contest was a part of the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic.
Mike Thomas and Gibson Johnson poured in 19 points a piece, with junior forward Jack Purchase also contributing 18 of his own.
The trio of forwards combined to have a staggering sixty-eight percent of the Warriors’ points in the game.
