ST. LOUIS, Mo. — 37 points.

In two games against Wichita State, Missouri State had been defeated by 18 and 19 points, respectively.

“If we win this tournament, your name is in the NCAA Tournament,” Shamet said. “I would be nice to win the thing and know that we will be in the tournament. That’s kind of our mindset: We don’t want to leave it up to chance.”

The contest was, surprisingly, competitive for 12 minutes. The Braves held their only leads at 2-0 and 4-2. Continue reading RECAP: #21 Wichita State advances to semi-finals with 82-56 destruction of Bradley
