With the 2017-18 college basketball season less than two weeks away, fans across the country are buzzing with excitement about their respective teams. Several teams have taken part in disaster relief games to raise funds for relief efforts across North America and other parts of the world, which has only added to the buzz.
But, before the season kicks off, there’s one more week of voting in the Mascot Mayhem Challenge to determine the winner.
The Final Four saw two familiar faces taking part, including last year’s winner. Then, there was a newcomer to the challenge entirely, and one who has been a mainstay over the four years, but was in their first Final Four.
As of Monday, October 16th, we are exactly 25 days away from the start of the 2017-18 college basketball season. Teams are in full practice mode now, trying to fine tune their approach before games kick off on November 10th.
But, before then, there’s still an award that needs to be handed out.
The 4th Annual College Court Report Mascot Mayhem Challenge is down to the Elite Eight after another intense week of voting. Two powerhouse mascots continued to roll, while two of the match-ups had a bit of extra incentive for the schools involved.
