The 2015-16 college basketball season is slowly winding down, as the post-season is in full swing with four of the five tournaments moving towards their respective championships.
That also means that the year is coming to an end for a plethora of teams around the country, turning the attention to the 2016-17 season in the process.
Some players are starting to focus on taking their careers to the next level, and over the next month or so, players will be declaring for the NBA Draft. Earlier this week, the Clemson Tigers learned that one of their stars was going to forego his senior season of eligibility in the NCAA to pursue his professional dreams.
Slowly but surely, the Clemson Tigers are showing the college basketball world that they are more than just a football school.
Competing in the ACC against the likes of North Carolina, Duke, and Virginia is never easy, and the Tigers often get overshadowed. They have talented players come through their program, but haven’t been able to translate that into conference titles or deep post-season tournament runs.
Despite the lack of success on the hardwood, things could be on the uprise for the Clemson.
