DENVER, Colo. — Heading into the 2018-19 season, the Denver Pioneers had some holes to fill on their roster from the season prior.

Due to graduation, the Pioneers lost big man Daniel Amigo and guard Jake Pemberton, both of whom were key contributors in 2017-18. Pemberton was third on the team with 11.1 points per game, while Amigo led the Pioneers in rebounding (6.7 rpg) while finishing second in scoring (15.3 ppg).

This off-season, Denver has looked to the transfer market to add some experience and talent to their roster for the upcoming season. The addition of 6’7” forward Ronnie Harrell, Jr., a graduate transfer from the Creighton Bluejays, will undoubtedly boost the talent up front and on the wing for head coach Rodney Billups and company.

Even with the addition of Harrell Jr. to the mix, the Pioneers still had some holes to fill.

On Tuesday, the Pioneers added another big piece to the puzzle for the 2018-19 season by way of another graduate transfer with power conference experience. Forward Tory Miller-Stewart committed to the Pioneers, staying in the state of Denver after transferring from the Colorado Buffaloes.
