CANMORE, Alta. — It was quite a week for the Jacksonville Dolphins.

Not only did the Dolphins put together a 3-1 record over the past seven days, including a 2-1 record at the Wright State MTE in Dayton, OH, but they also cleaned house in terms of the weekly Atlantic Sun awards. Jace Hogan picked up Newcomer of the Week honours, while Devin Harris nabbed Player of the Week honours.

Their week ended up on a high note, as they picked up a big win over the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs in triple-overtime, 106-99. Harris played an impressive 52 minutes on the day, leading the Dolphins to the impressive victory to close out a strong week for the team across the board.

Over the course of the week, Harris has three games with 20+ points, while also recording his first two double-doubles to open the week. He was a force on both ends of the floor, and Jacksonville fans wanted to show their support for the senior from Tampa, Florida.

For his efforts this past week, a stretch that saw him record 23 or more points three times, senior guard Devin Harris has been selected by the fans as the College Court Report Fan-Voted Player of the Week for November 20-26, 2017!

Harris received the most votes in our weekly Twitter poll. Akolda Manyang (Utah Valley), Matt Scott (Niagara), and Isaiah Wright (San Diego) were also in the running.

The Badgers took home a bronze medal last season in the OUA Playoffs, and were a top-five team in the country for the latter part of the season. They saw first-hand what it takes to win a gold medal, and with a strong core back for another go-round, this year could be the Badgers’ year on the hardwood.

Before the season gets going, the Badgers will play six exhibition games against Division I institutions from across the NCAA. Starting August 9th, the Badgers will play a pair of games on their home court, before heading to the Virgin Islands to play four more games against various NCAA opponents.

Playing top-tier opponents from the NCAA will put the Badgers to the test early on, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their 2017-18 season. Continue reading Brock Badgers set to host Jacksonville Dolphins, Binghamton Bearcats inside Bob Davis Gymnasium
