SARNIA, Ont. — The off-season following the 2017-18 season is in full swing, which means it’s time to look ahead at the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Only 207 days to go!

Until then, there will be plenty of player and team news to keep us more than occupied. If a player decides to transfer, you’ll find it here. If a player commits to a new school, it’ll be here. If a player releases his short list of schools, chances are it’ll be here as well. I’m only human, and chances are I’ll miss some news here and there as well, so bear with me.

On Thursday, two big names hit the open market, while several transfers have either trimmed their list of schools or have set up visits in the coming weeks. Continue reading Transfer Talk: Eric Lockett and Nazeer Bostick Transfer, Plus Updates on James Scott, Darious Hall, and Others

When one thinks of household names in the college basketball world, the Florida International Golden Panthers don’t usually come to mind in terms of national discussion, let alone in their own conference.

Playing in the Conference USA, the Golden Panthers are often overshadowed by the likes of the UAB BlazersLouisiana Tech Bulldogs, and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, among others. On Wednesday afternoon, they gained a commitment from a coveted graduate transfer that will bolster their roster in 2016-17.

Forward Michael Kessens committed to the Golden Panthers, after transferring from the Alabama Crimson Tide following the 2015-16 campaign. Continue reading Alabama Transfer Michael Kessens Commits to Florida International; Immediately Eligible in 2016-17
