Hawai’i Begins Conference Play Thursday Against Long Beach State

LONG BEACH, Ca. — Thursday night, the Hawai’i Warriors will be on the road to begin their Big West conference play slate against the Long Beach State 49ers.

The 9-4 Hawai’i Warriors are entering Big West play with a glaring weakness on the offensive end of the floor, as they shot just 30.65% from three point range during non-conference play.

Hawai’i Begins Their Season with an 82-70 Victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff

HONOLULU — The Hawai’i Warriors opened up their 2017-18 season with a with an 82-70 win against the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Friday’s contest was a part of the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic.

Senior forwards Mike Thomas and Gibson Johnson poured in 19 points a piece, with junior forward Jack Purchase also contributing 18 of his own.

Hawai’i Warriors 2017-18 Season Preview

Honolulu, HI — The Warriors of Hawai’i went 14-16 overall, and 8-8 in Big West conference play last season.  They finished off the season on a three game losing and streak and lost to the Long Beach State 49ers, 73-62, in the quarterfinals of the Big West conference tournament.

Head Coach Eran Ganot and his staff will have a tough task in front of them this upcoming season, as they will have to replace the team’s leading scorer in Noah Allen and replace one of their own in assistant Chris Acker. Continue reading Hawai’i Warriors 2017-18 Season Preview
