SAN ANGELO, Tex. — As of July 9th, 135 players transferred from Division I to play at Division II institutions next season, per Verbal Commits.
Considering 736 players have transferred to date, that means that over 18% of players have transferred to Division II.
On Monday, that number grew even larger, as a trio of players all made the move to the Division II level. All three players, who played their Division I basketball all across the United States, committed to the same program in San Angelo, Texas.
