TOWSON, Md. –The Towson Tigers will look considerably different in 2018-19 in comparison to their 2017-18 roster.

After an 18-win season, the Tigers will be without their top five scorers heading into the 2018-19 season. Towson lost three players to graduation, and another two players decided to transfer out of the program.

Leading scorer Zane Martin (19.8 ppg) opted to transfer from the team after his sophomore season, as did fellow sophomore Justin Gorham (9.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg). While both players have yet to commit to new programs, it’s unlikely that they’ll be back in a Towson jersey.

Add in the graduation of Brian Starr, Mike Morsell, and Eddie Keith II, and the Tigers lose over 60 points per game of production from their 2017-18 roster (60.6) ppg.

On Monday, the Tigers got some good news on the transfer market. While the addition won’t help them right away in 2018-19, it does add an intriguing piece to the puzzle for the 2019-20 season and beyond.
