Top 15 graduate transfers from non-power programs in 2017 – April 20th

CALGARY, Alta. — In college basketball, graduate transfers are highly coveted in the off-season.

For power conference teams who feel they are a piece or two away from competing for a conference title, and possibly the national crown, a graduate transfer could plug a few holes that may get them over the hump. On the flip side, smaller programs could turn to graduate transfers to simply fill out their roster for the ensuing year.

This off-season, the graduate transfer market has been filled with some spectacular names. Several of the bigger names have already found their final schools to close out their collegiate careers.

Egor Koulechov has committed to the Florida GatorsJustin Bibbins to the Utah UtesStephan Jiggetts to the South Florida Bulls, and Kerem Kanter to the Xavier Musketeers, among a slew of others.

With that said, there are plenty of talented prospects still looking for their new home, all of whom will have a big impact next season with their respective schools.

Top 15 graduate transfers from non-power programs in 2017

Canadian guard Kassius Robertson announced that he would graduate and transfer from Canisius, but left open the possibility of a return to the Golden Griffins for the 2017-18 campaign.

CALGARY, Alta. — The transfers keep on coming.

This off-season, there have been some big names from power conference programs to hit the open market. The Lawson brothers transferred from the Memphis Tigers, while the Washington Huskies have lost their fair share of players in their own right after the firing of Lorenzo Romar.

However, there are some impact transfers on the market from programs who don’t garner nearly the attention levels of power conference players.

There are a plethora of talented graduate transfers this season from non-power programs, all of whom will have a strong impact with their future programs in 2017-18. With each passing day, it seems as though another marquee players hits the open market, ready to leave their mark next season in their final collegiate year.

We went through the list of graduate transfers, and compiled a list of the top 15 on the market at the moment.
