ORLANDO, Fla. — For the first time in a month, UCF superstar B.J. Taylor was back on the court.

“We are so engrossed in what we’re doing, I haven’t had the chance to really think about what it means [nationally],” said UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins. “Every practice, every game, our goal is to go out and get better.” Continue reading RECAP: Defense charges UCF past Temple, 77-53

After requiring 45 minutes to defeat Miami (OH) on Sunday, the Knights jumped on in-state rival Bethune-Cookman, marching to a 71-41 win in dominant fashion.

“I thought it was one of our best defensive efforts of the season,” said UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins. “In studying their players, I thought our team knew they were capable of scoring the basketball and our guys did a great job following the game plan.”

In addition to their defense. UCF’s offense was clicking on all cylinders from start to finish. The Knights shot 50.9% and tied a season-high with 11 triples.  Continue reading RECAP: UCF Knights Dominate Bethune-Cookman, Close Non-Conference Play at 9-3
