BEAUMONT, Tex. — For the second time in their past three games, the Lamar Cardinals topped the 100-point mark in front of their home crowd.
The Cardinals entered Wednesday’s game against the Southern-New Orleans Knights on the heels of their first loss of 2017-18. Lamar fell to the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners on Sunday, 85-73. In front of their home fans on Wednesday, the Cardinals were looking for a big bounce-back performance to get back in the win column.

Six different players scored in double-figures, including a career-high 25 points from Nick Garth, who came off the bench to pace the offensive attack for the Cardinals. Despite trailing in the opening minutes, Lamar was never seriously challenged throughout Wednesday’s contest.
The Cardinals topped the 100-point mark for the second time this season, and got back to their winning ways with the 105-67 win over the Knights. Continue reading Balanced Attack Leads Lamar Past Southern-New Orleans, 105-67
