SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Take a bow, Cameron Jackson.
Coming into Thursday night’s tilt against the VMI Keydets, Jackson had been on quite the roll. Over his last two games, a stretch in which the Wofford Terriers went 1-1, he averaged 16 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest, both of which were higher than his seasonal averages (10.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg).
Against the Keydets, the sophomore out of Winchester, VA put forth the best performance of his young collegiate career.
Jackson finished the night with a career-high 25 points, going 11-of-13 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line. He also added 7 rebounds and dished out 1 assist to help lead Wofford to the 88-70 rout of VMI in Southern Conference action.
