BEAUMONT, Tex. — While the NCAA Tournament is still in full swing, the off-season leading up to the 2017-18 season is shaping up to be an exciting one. It appears as though no team is safe from the transfer epidemic that is going around the country once again.
According to Verbal Commits, the transfer list has already eclipsed 200 players, and it will only grow as each day passes.
On Friday, several talented sophomores announced their intentions to transfer from their respective programs. Two of those players suited up for the Lamar Cardinals this past season, and while they saw limited action, they were key pieces to the Cardinals’ run to the post-season in 2016-17.
